Albany – Jessie M. Rogerson, 82, passed away peacefully, Thursday November 19, 2009 at her home.
She was born in Boston the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Blanchard) VanCamfort. Jessie was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed quilting with the Colonie Sr. Citizens. Jessie's greatest joy was her family. Jessie was predeceased by her husband Joseph Rogerson in 2003.
She is survived by her children: Suzanne (Raymond) Parodi, Diane (Norman) Webster, Joseph (Kathryn) Rogerson, Richard Rogerson, Brian (Cathy) Rogerson, RoyAnn Rogerson and Hisako Rogerson, grandchildren: Melissa, Jessica, Patricia, Scott, Erica, Daniel, Janette, Dylan and Lennon, ten great-grandchildren, five sisters: Genie, Millie, Alice, Dottie and Eleanor, many nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Lynn Fowler. In addition to her husband, Jessie was predeceased by her sister Margaret.
The funeral service will be held Monday 11:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment, Saratoga National Cemetery. To leave a special message for the family online, visit www.NewcomerAlbany.com
