Jessie Tice

Schodack- Jessie S. Tice, 91, passed away at home on Saturday, August 6, 2005. Born in Oriskany, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Isabel Thrasher. A homemaker all her life Jessie enjoyed gardening, but most of all her life evolved around her family and grandchildren. Jessie is predeceased by her husband of 49 years William Tice. She is also predeceased by her three brothers, Francis, Glen, and Nelson Thrasher; and her two sisters, Marion Swald, and Ada Briggs.

Jessie leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Elaine Huestis and husband DeWitt of Schodack, Leslie Tice and wife Suzanne of Nassau, Kathleen Zwack and husband Andrew of Knox; five grandchildren, Sarah Ajima, Trisha Tice, Nicholas Huestis, Timothy Tice, and Rebecca Zwack, her sister Anna Swald, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Jessie S. Tice.
