Jo-Ann Mancini

COLONIE – Jo-Ann Mancini of Colonie passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Cohoes on June 17, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Pollock. She was employed with the Watervliet Arsenal from where she retired. Jo-Ann was an avid and talented gardener. She is the beloved mother of Edward A. (Lynne) Deno, Jr. and Beau J. (Rhapsody) Mancini. Jo-Ann is the loving sister of Doreen Pollock, Sandra Hayes, Joseph Pollock, Louis Pollock, Mary Beth Stoddard and the late Donald Pollock. She is the cherished grandmother of Zoe, Sydney and Schuyler Deno. Jo-Ann was the former wife and close friend of Jim Mancini and the late Edward Deno.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Jo-Ann Mancini.
