LOUDONVILLE – Jo-Anne M. Farrigan, 41, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, December 2, 2011. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of Charleen (Johnson) Brown and the late Richard Brown, Sr.
Jo-Anne loved special vacation times with her family. She enjoyed having people around her. She was very involved in her children's lives and included herself in all their activities. Jo-Anne was employed with the New York State Department of Labor and worked with a very unique bunch of friends who were always there for her and continued to boost her spirits.
Jo-Anne is survived by her mother Charleen (Joseph), fiancé Rick Millard; beloved children Gillian Farrigan, Laura Farrigan and Michael Millard; brother Richard (Mandy), Brown, Jr. mother-in-law and dear friend Debbie Farrigan and father-in-law Richard Farrigan; father of her two children, Paul Farrigan; sister-in-law Wendy (Matthew) Press; niece and nephews, Maden Press, Brianna and Cody Brown and maternal grandmother, Shirley Johnson. She is also survived by her extended family Ann and Lee Atwater and their sons and a host of dear family and friends.
Jo-Anne was predeceased by her father, and three year old son, Brandon Benedict.
The family would like to thank the Hope Club and a special group of parents that have helped and continue to support the family.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory's Garden, Colonie.
