CLIFTON PARK- Jo McGarry, age 95, passed away at Fulton Center on May 26, 2024.
She was born in Manhattan on November 9, 1928, daughter of the late Edmonde Eades Sr. and Sally (Bolling) Eades. She was employed at Sterling Winthrop for many years. She retired January 1, 1991.
She leaves behind a son, Mark J McGarry, a sister, Patricia (Richard, deceased) Pettengill, and a brother, W. Nicholas (Dellaphene) Eades.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edmonde Eades Jr., and three sisters: Marguery Berger, Jacqueline S. Miller, and Leonie "Lee" Coletta.
Jo was a devoted and supportive mother to Mark and a caring owner to several cats.
She was widely known as a generous and caring woman.
No services are planned. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery & Memorial Park in Albany.
