GUILDERLAND -Joan M. Pagliuco Audi, 88, died on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Our Lady Of Mercy Life Center after a brief illness. Joan was born on August 9, 1931 in Albany to the late James V. Pagliuco and Margaret F. Gill. She attended Cathedral Academy and graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. Upon graduation, Joan worked many years at W.E. Walsh & Sons and was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother.
She will be remembered for her caring and gentle spirit, sweet smile and great sense of humor. She touched the lives of many people. She enjoyed simple things, like going out to dinner, taking a nice ride on a sunny day and watching classic movies. Joan also loved spending time with her family and dear friends in Pompano Beach, Florida. Having spent 17 years working in the clothing industry, she had an eye for fashion and always looked stunning.
Joan is predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years, Eugene J. Audi, former owner of Eugene's Sidedoor Cafe. She was also predeceased by her brother James V. Pagliuco Jr. and dear aunt, Lucy Kindlon. She is survived by her two devoted sons, Mark E. Audi of Atlanta, Ga. and David J. Audi of Guilderland; her cousins, Mary Ann Kindlon and Peter Kindlon of Guilderland; nieces and nephews; Janice, Eugene and Joseph and their families.
Joan's family wishes to extend sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff that have helped her over the last few years with special thanks to some very special nurses from "Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association" for all their compassionate care and thoughtfulness.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and mandatory social distancing, there will be a private service for immediate family only, followed by an entombment at St.
