Joan Berberick, 89, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2019 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters, with her loving family by her side.
Joan was born in Guilderland and was the daughter of the late Martin and Esther (Kyle) Lehner.
She was employed as a clerk with New York State Department of Labor.
She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards with her friends and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Joan was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late John (Jack) A. Berberick, Jr. who passed in 2013.
She is the devoted mother of Linda A. Berberick and Martin J. (Michelle) Berberick. She is the grandmother of Reece and Tyler Berberick.
The family would like to thank the entire staff with St. Peters Hospice for all of their care and compassion given to Joan and her family.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11 :00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
