GRAFTON-
Cirincione, Joan Elizabeth, 74, it is with great sadness that
our beloved Joan on February 20th 2023, has peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Although she had fought a hard courageous battle against cancer, she was a positive, affectionate, and thoughtful woman.
Joan had spent most of her time creating memories with her fur babies, family and friends, cooking, baking delicious goods, crocheting and sewing projects that she barely kept for herself. Born in Troy, NY by predeceased parents (Edward and Helen Adams), she resided in Schenectady, NY, most of her life and final residence in Grafton, NY.
She retired in 2010 from the State of New York OGS and Home Depot.
Joan was an amazing, dedicated mother to her sons, Micheal Gretten (fiancé Ruthie), Sean Gretten (predeceased Laurie) and two wonderful grandchildren, Ian and Brie. She was a loving sister to Bernadine Lappin, Edward Adams Jr, and Marguerite Cameron (Peter). Joan will also be remembered as a fun, caring and loving aunt, great aunt, great great aunt, cousin, and a dear friend to many others.
The family plans to celebrate the life of Joan in gathering during the spring.
They also ask that in Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a local animal shelter.
