LOUDONVILLE – Joan D. Couch, 82, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Ellis Hospital.
Joan was born on March 10, 1931 in Albany and was one of six children born to the late Frank and Elisabeth (Ryan) Dunham. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leslie F. Couch.
Joan was an artist – doing lace, needlepoint and crewel work. She was proud of her volunteer work with Peebles Island Resource Center, specializing in historic fabric restoration, including work at Olana and the New York Capital Building.
Joan is survived by her loving children, Sharon DeBonis, Lawrence (Magee) Couch, Mark W. (Mary Jane) Couch and Todd (Laura) Couch; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Judy, with Home Instead, for the compassionate care she gave to Joan.
