SCHENECTADY- Joan Stryker Jones, 76, of Schenectady, died suddenly on Saturday December 24, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Esther Stryker.
Joan had worked as a long distance operator for AT & T for twenty years retiring in 1989. She is the beloved mother of Dennis Jones, Sheryl Jones, John Nisselbeck and Scott Jones. She is the sister of Fred, Frank and Robert Stryker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Thursday evening at 7:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be private.
