COLONIE - Joan M. Bagley, 85, Latham, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Demetrius and Rose (Johnson) Berdar. Joan was predeceased by her husband, James Bagley, Sr. She was born and educated in Watervliet, NY.
She was the loving mother of James and Donald Bagley, Gail Hudson, and Susan Kane; devoted sister of Shirley Charbonneau; Loving aunt of William (Christina) Schermerhorn, also devoted Grandmother to 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
Joan was employed for 38 years at the Bowler's Club in Latham, and the last 5 years at Spare Time in Latham.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
