Joan M. Schaeffer

ALBANY- Joan M. Schaeffer, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday October 30, 2015 at Rosewood Nursing Home. She was born on October 15, 1934 to the late John and Mary Schaeffer in Brockton, PA. Joan moved to Schaghticoke in 1952 and later retired from Key Bank in Albany. Joan loved watching QVC and purchasing gifts for her friends and family.
Joan is survived by her brother John (Barbara) Schaeffer; her nieces, Lisa (Kurt) Berger and Cathy McCauley; her great-nieces, Elizabeth McCauley and Alexis Berger; and her great-nephew, William McCauley.
There will be no visitation. The family will have private graveside services at St. John's in Schagticoke.
