Joan M. Zeh

Joan M. (Kahl) Zeh, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 03, 2011 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born in Albany to the late Frank and Vera Mitchell. Joan loved animals, especially her kittens, Skipper and Peanuts. She enjoyed going to dinner and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her first husband, Dane Kahl and her second husband, Raymond Zeh, her son, Dane Kahl, her brother, Frank and her sister, Delores.
Joan is survived by her three sons; Brian (Jean Roland), Robert (Sherry) and Bruce Kahl. She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas and Jack Mitchell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the 4th floor Cardiac Unit at Ellis Hospital for all of their tender care.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
