ROTTERDAM- Joan M. Romanofski, age 92, passed away on May 24, 2021 at Kingsway Arms.
She was born in Carbondale, PA, the daughter of the late Constantine and Rose Battisti. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest R. Romanofski, her son Ernest J. Romanofski and her sister Antoinette Penzone.
Joan was a communicant of St. Gabriels. She and her husband were active in the Rotterdam Elks and the Rotterdam Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Newton (Richard); daughter in law, Bonni Romanofski; granddaughters: Alicia Newton (Edwyn Mayhew), and Michelle Riganti (Joseph); great grandchildren: Ella, Frank, Joseph and Giovanna Riganti; her sister, Blanche Hudson; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
