Joan B. Wallace. December 4, 1928 - October 13, 2024

Joan B. Wallace, 95 of Ballston Spa, NY passed away peacefully to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 13, 2024. Joan was born in New York City and spent her formative years in Astoria, Queens. She attended St. Agnes Academy in College Point on a full academic scholarship and later attended City College of New York. Joan and her husband Bill began a three year adventure living in Spain and Italy where her daughter Diana and son Jim were born.

Upon returning to the United States, they lived in New York City before moving to the Syracuse area where her son Andrew and daughter Kelly were born. Joan had a long career in commercial real estate and as the director of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Upstate New York. Upon retirement Joan relocated to the Saratoga, NY area.

Joan leaves behind her son Jim (Nicole) and daughter Kelly (Mark), and her grandchildren Luka, Peyton, and Cade. She was predeceased by her children Diana and Andrew. She was also predeceased by her parents Edmund and Loretta Brodigan, sister Eileen Bartles, and brother Edmond Brodigan. 

Joan’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow from infants to young adults. She was the matriarch of her family and will be missed.

Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Baldwinsville, NY on October 25. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the National Autism Association of North Texas.
