Joan M. Weaver
August 5, 1926 — January 12, 2020
Joan M. Weaver, 93, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Joan was the daughter of the late Conrad and Marie Wagner of Albany.
Joan was lifetime resident of Albany. She received an Associates Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and worked in NYC in the fashion industry for several years before getting married. Joan was the devoted wife of 63 years to the late Robert Weaver, both residing in Newtonville.
Joan is survived by her loving son, LtCol (Ret, USAF) Roger (wife, Carmela) Weaver of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren: Randall, Eric, Tanya and Ryan Weaver; and her brother, Paul Wagner.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Wagner.
Visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 pm.
