Joann U. Cusack

Troy- Joann U. Cusack, 73, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 22, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Joann was the daughter of the late Garfield and Ursula. Joann was the devoted wife to Lawrence Cusack. They were married 53 years.

Joann loved camping, boating, and especially her love for garage sales and her grandchildren .

Joann is survived by her children, Ronald G. Swartz, Mia Cusack, Lawrence (Hollie) Cusack II and Patrick (Jodi) Cusack; her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; her loving siblings; and many loving relatives and friends.

Joann is predeceased by daughters, Sandra Contreras and Kristie Ann Cusack; including her grandson, Thomas Swartz.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm . A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
