Joanne Bland

NISKAYUNA – JoAnne B. Bland, born in Chicago, IL on January 12, 1962 to the late Lola Horne Bland and Turner Bland. JoAnne entered God's heavens on December 8, 2004 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a loving, warm lady filled with laughter and joy. She touched all of those who knew her in this short life. JoAnne leaves her two beloved sisters and two beloved brothers, Annie Bland, Lucille (Noble) Davis, Nate (Debbie) Bland and Mike (Ines) Bland. JoAnne was predeceased by two brothers, Odell Bland and Dell Horne. She will be grieved by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and all her loving caregivers, especially Babette Anderson.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 noon at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Israel A.M.E. Church, 381 Hamilton Street, Albany, NY 12210 in memory of JoAnne B. Bland.
