Joanne F."Jojo" Dames

Colonie- Joanne F. Dames, 50, passed away at Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital on July 30, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Henry D. and Ella (Payne) Bunn, Jojo was born in Newark, NJ on August 28, 1965. Jojo loved and adored her dogs, Chloe and Nikki. She enjoyed spending time with Pogo friends on her computer.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Robert Dames of Colonie; her two sisters: Helen (Barry) Betz and Vicky (the late Stephen) Gizzi; her two brothers: Wallace and Henry Bunn; her nieces and nephews: Ella Bunn, George, Leonard, and Ricky Durand, Matthew Gizzi, Barry, Brandon, and Nichole Betz; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 11am to 12pm on Wednesday, August 3 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
