Joanne Herrick

GUILDERLAND-Joanne E. "JoBeth" Herrick, 67, a resident of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, died Monday, September 10, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Albany, Joanne was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Mariani) McNamara. She was a graduate of Vincention Institute. Joanne was employed by Farm Family Insurance Company until her retirement in 2001. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel Cameron Herrick, Sr. Joanne is survived by her 4 loving children: Tracey Anne (Robert) Lemke; Daniel Cameron (Seanan) Herrick, Jr.; Judith Marie Herrick-Wargo, and John Daniel Herrick. She is the grandmother of Daniel Wargo; Tyler, Jenna and Melanie Lemke; Cameron Herrick, Katelyn and Madelyn Herrick. Sister in Law to Jack and Theresa Herrick; Thomas and Priscilla Herrick; Robert and Mary Herrick; James and Barbara Herrick and the late Judy Waters. Also survived by her sister, Ellie White and her dear friend, Carol Crowley; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the faculty and staff of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center for their care and compassion during our Mother's stay.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 14, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8PM on Thursday, September 13, 2012.
