COHOES – Joanne S. Wilson, 57, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011 at her home.
Joanne was born on June 9, 1953 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Irvin S. and Fannie (Hughes) Wilson. She was employed for Boscov's Department Store in Clifton Park as a retail supervisor for the past 6 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, video games, camping and going to jazz festivals.
Joanne is survived by her loving daughter, Shana L. (Eugene D.) McCall; her loving sisters, Vanessa Meyers, Viola Wilson, and Marie Gray; her brother, Irvin Samuel Wilson Jr.; her cherished grandsons, Joshaun A. Thomas and Shamar Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (tomorrow) at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.
