Joanne Walsh-Rudolph

ALBANY – Joanne T. Walsh-Rudolph, passed away on Monday, April 02, 2007, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jenny Romano. Joanne lived in Albany for all of her life. She worked for the Albany County Probation Dept. for many years and more recently at St. Peter's Hospital, from where she retired. Joanne loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She is the beloved wife of the late Patrick M. Walsh and Richard K. Rudolph. She is the devoted mother of Michelle (Tom) O'Hare of Loudonville, Mary (John) Mariani of Colonie and Patrick Walsh of Albany. She is the step-mother of Cheryl (Bob) Rudolph and Richard Rudolph, Jr. Joanne is the loving sister of James (Carol) Romano of Albany and Eleanor (Ernie) Weeks of South Carolina. She is the cherished grandmother of Ryan, Casey, Jenna, Shannon, John, Nicole, Amber, Dominique, Summer and Skylar. Joanne was the special aunt of Michael Romano. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joanne's family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice of Albany for all of the care and support given to her during her illness.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Joanne T. Walsh-Rudolph.
