Joe L. Price of Albany, New York passed away on Friday, March 18th, 2022, at the age of 83. After several months of declining health, Joe died peacefully with his loving family by his side.
Born March 23, 1938 in Danville, VA, Joe was the son of the late Charlie and Mildred Jones Price. Joe was united in Holy Matrimony and was a devoted husband to Ardria Price for 52 years. He was employed by Price Chopper for 30 years before his retirement. In his retirement, Joe loved to spend time with family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Ardria Price; children Michelle Belle, Joe Price Jr., Brian Price, and Yvette Kelly (Michael); brothers Harvey Price, Curtis Price, John Price; sisters: Mary Hariston, Rebecca Woodson, and Vernice Adams; grandchildren QuiEssence Price, Javar Burch, Taje Price, Jayden Price, Mikeisha Kelly, Myaisha Kelly, Mykailah Kelly, Brian Price Jr.; great granddaughter, RahLeyah Carter and countless extended family and friends. All held him in the highest regard and loved him dearly. Joe will be lovingly remembered and missed.
In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by one son, Alex Price; four brothers, Fowlks "John" Price, Witcher "Dick" Price, Sr., Charlie Price, and James Price; and one sister, Mildred Price Peatross.
At Joe's request, there will be a small private service for immediate family and friends.
