Johanna M. Deitz, 83, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly November 6, 2020. Born in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mabel Ackerman.
Johanna loved to play bingo, slots and go to the casino. She also had a passion for shopping.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Orville Deitz.
She is survived by her children Sandra Deitz, Nicholas (Tami) Giovannone, Louise Giovannone, Gerald Deitz (Nancy O'Neil), Joseph (Wendy) Giovannone, Sheryl Deitz, Gerald Deitz, Orvie Deitz, Mark Deitz, Joann Dunn, grandchildren Michael Anderson Jr, Sherylann Anderson, Todd Payne, Amanda Payne, Nicholas Giovannone Jr, Nate Giovannone, Nathan, Nicole and Johnny Giovannone, Megan Giovannone, Raven Giovannone, Chris Smith and Jason Smith, Sandra Saxby, David Saxby, Jordan and T.J. Deitz, Mary, Christopher and Gerald Deitz Jr., Dakota, Joey and Johnny Deitz as well as 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday November 10, from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY 12205
