Johanna T. Fisk

TROY – Johanna T. Fisk, 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Martha Rockenstyre. Johanna was the owner of Bob & Jo's Grocery Store on Quail Street in Albany for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Scully Post.

Johanna is the loving sister of Martha Zwack of Guilderland. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Fisk and her siblings, George Rockenstyre Jr., Cornelius Rockenstyre, Michael Rockenstyre, Charlotte Andrews, Anne Barselow and John A. Rockenstyre.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes (corner of Yates and Ontario Sts.), Albany. Calling hours will precede the Mass from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Johanna T. Fisk.
