John H. Atkins, Jr. 53, died August 13, 2011 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Albany, son of Rita (Frank) and the Late John H. Atkins, Sr.
He is survived by his wife Mary (VanAlstyne) Atkins of Albany; Father of Holly and Kelly Atkins of Albany. Grandfather of Joshua DeJusus Jr. His sister Tina Lake previously deceased him. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and Relatives are invited to call Tuesday August 16, 2011 from 9:00-11:00 at Grace & Holy Innocence Church, 498 Clinton Ave. Albany. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Central Ave. Albany.
