John J. Beaudoin

Troy- John J. Beaudoin, 79, of Troy, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Thursday, February 27, 2025

Born in Troy on November 10, 1945, he was the son of the late John J. Beaudoin and Marion V. Beaudoin of Troy, and husband of Gail Beaudoin (Powell).

John was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Troy and Chauffer's Training School, Albany. He worked many years for Grand Union in Waterford as a driver, warehouse worker, and loading instructor.

John loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors; walking with his "cup of coffee".

John had a special concern for the poor. 

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Christine (Chris) Burdick; son, John (Shannon) Beaudoin, of Troy; grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Sabrina, Audie, Abigail, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Deklan; siblings, MaryAnn (Joe) Gaetano, Gerard (Linda) Beaudoin, of Wyoming, Patricia (Mark) Rokjer, Kenneth Beaudoin, and Nanci Beaudoin.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Friday March 7, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to begin at12:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, New York.
