WATERVLIET_John Bradley, 69, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015.
He was born on June 11, 1946, son of the late George L. and Beulah Magill Bradley.
John worked as a dispatcher for Albany County Radio and Main Care in Albany and later Veritas Security as a security guard. John was a devoted member of Grace Fellowship Church in Latham. Church was very important to John, he faithfully attended services and enjoyed volunteering, as a greeter and especially as a teacher in the preschool. John was a happy and joyful man, a loyal friend, devoted uncle and will be fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege to know him.
John is survived by his loving, fiancé, Shirley Eldridge; close friends, Elizabeth and Brian Dunphy, Deborah Breeyear, Tammy Singh and her daughter Riya Singh; nephews and niece, Ken Elliot, George Elliot, Alan Elliot and Sandra Elliot, a special friend Mary and best friend, Jessie.
He was predeceased by his fiancé Bridget Breeyear Frese whom he provided excellent care for during an unexpected illness, his sister,Irene Elliot, and brothers, George and Russell.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Funeral Home in Colonie. A funeral service for John will be held on following calling hours at 12pm on Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in East Greenbush Cemetery where John will be laid to rest with his parents and brother.
