SCHENECTADY - John G. Bullock, Jr., 76, passed away on March 20, 2023.
He was born in Roxboro, North Carolina, a son of the late John G. and Nanie-Ruth (Bailey) Bullock, Sr.
John earned his Bachelors' Degree from North Carolina Central University. He married Virginia (Collins) in 1976. He was employed for many years as a research scientist with the State of New York Dept. of Health. He was also employed for several years with Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceuticals in Rensselaer for several years.
He loved Jazz music, science and sports. He enjoyed talking about life and politics.
John is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia Bullock ; his children, Jeffrey D. Nunnally and Carletta N. Collins; grandchildren, Tatianna T. Gibson, DaJour M. Gibson; great grandchild, Anton K. Bell IIII, and a host of others.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm and a celebration of life will immediately follow at 1:30 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
