John C. Cullam, Jr.

GUILDERLAND-John C. Cullam Jr., 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Queens, N.Y. on May 4, 1946, the son of the late John C. Cullam Sr., and Dorothy Ruth Cullam.
John became a self-employed locksmith after retiring from a career in auto mechanics. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Yankees, metal detecting, and spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren at their sporting events.
John was the loving husband of 49 years to Donna A. Cullam. He will be forever remembered by his beloved sister Michele and brother Harry.
John was the devoted father of John, David (Christine), and Teresa (Corey) Tymchyn; his grandchildren Carli, Ryan, and Justin; niece Darlene, nephew Darin and great nieces Emily and Jordan, along with many extended family members.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 4-8pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John's name to The American Cancer Society.
