John C. Roehr, Jr.

COLONIE – John C. Roehr, Jr., 70, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at home. He was the son of the late John C. Roehr, Sr. and Marjorie Roehr.
John was a Professor at Hudson Valley Community College for 35 years. He was a member of the Saratoga Fraternal Order of Eagles 2586, Colonie Elks 2192, Colonie Knights of Columbus and the West Albany #1 Volunteer Fire Company. John also enjoyed spending time at Saratoga Racino and Dee Dee's Tavern.
Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his wife, Mary.
He is survived by his brother, Alan C. Roehr and his wife Annalene; sister Patricia DePaulo, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga Fraternal Order of Eagles 2586, 373 Crescent Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in John's name.
