COLONIE – John C. Scott, Jr., 37, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 16, 2006.
John was born on June 17, 1968 in Albany and is the son of John C. Scott, Sr. and the late Pamella M. Hitchcock Scott. He married Priscilla R. Bingham Scott on October 17, 1992.
John worked for Skyway for 2 years, K-mart for 7 years and Dollar Tree for 5 years. He was diagnosed with diabetes in 2000 and could no longer work due to his health. He loved NASCAR, hunting, fishing, camping and his four dogs.
In addition to his wife and father, John is survived by his stepsons, David, Jeremy and Bruce Williams; his step-mother, Judi Scott; his sisters, Christine and Diana Scott and his brothers, Kevin and William Scott. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
