John Dicarlo

d. October 24, 2011

ALBANY—John DiCarlo, 47, died suddenly after a long battle with diabetes on October 24, 2011.
John was born in Albany, son of Sante and Carmela DiCarlo. John worked as a tile setter for the family business as well as working as a truck driver towing for Anything Automotives. John was a big motorcycle enthusiast; he was always there to take a ride with anyone. The diabetes never stopped John, he had the will to live and ride. People were drawn to John because of his sense of humor and he was lucky to have many caring people in his life, his friends and family.
Besides his parents, John leaves behind his sisters, Silvia DiCarlo of Colonie, Marina and her husband Steven Loveland of Duanesburg and Emi DiCarlo of Colonie; nieces and nephews, Brianna and Mikaela Turner and Adriana, Anthony, Austin and Nino Truesell; and a special companion, Katrina Malecki.
Services will be held on Thursday morning at 9:30 AM from the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road (rt. 155 south of Central Ave.), then to Blessed Sacrament Church, Central Avenue, where a Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 PM.
