John F. Hanley
August 14, 1932 — January 6, 2015
ALBANY-John F. Hanley, 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He retired from Niagara Mohawk after many years of service.
John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia A. Hanley; his sons John J. Hanley (Mary) of VA and James B. Hanley (Teresa) of Niskayuna; and daughter-in-law Barbara Hanley of AL; grandchildren John R. Hanley, Ryan Hanley, Devon Hanley, Michael Hanley, James Hanley, Kate Hanley and Christopher Hanley and four great grandchildren.
John was predeceased by his son Thomas P. Hanley.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville.
Interment will be Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of John.
