John F. Mcintyre

East Berne- John F. McIntyre 50, passed away Sunday, June 21st, 2015 at Albany Medical Center after a year long battle with brain cancer. Born in Altamont, he was the son of James W. Sr. and E. Ruth McIntyre of Daytona Beach, FL. As a life long area resident, John graduated from Guilderland class of 83' and went on to work for Columbia Development Co. based out of Chatham.

He is survived by his companion of 22 years, Violet Writer and son John David McIntyre. John is also survived his brothers William E. McIntyre (Jen) of Schenectady, Timothy J. McIntyre Sr, Joseph M. McIntyre of Altamont and sister Susan M. Stark (Robert) of Guilderland and a countless number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his brother David J. and James W. McIntyre Jr. along with his sister Ruthann Russell.
