John "Jack" M. Grady

Troy - John M. Grady, affectionally known as Jack, 77, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Jack was the son of the late John and Rose Grady. Jack was the devoted husband to the late Phaijit Grady. They were married 34 years.

 Jack served in the United States Air Force for 24 years then worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and retired. Jack liked to play baseball, fastpitch softball, and played golf a lot and spending time with his loving family.

 Jack is survived by his children, Jackie Smith, Michael Grady, Sandra Grady, Rose Zohn, Mary Grady; grandchildren, Brandon Grady, Owen Grady, Heath Grady, Camren LeFevre, Lily Zohn, Max Zohn, and Tyler Whiteley; siblings, sister, Chris Grady-Lanesey and brother, Gary Grady and many loving relatives and friends.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville at 11:00 on October 8th 2024.
