Born December 14, 1962, in Albany New York. He was the son of the late John P and Joan F Grattan.
John attended Linton High school and worked construction and roofing.
He is survived by his son John. His brother William(Clorissa), sister Kimberly (Randy), his niece Mariah and nephew Jesse.
Private services will be held at a later date.
