DELMAR-John Harold Remmel, Sr., 59, died on Monday, August 12, 2013. John was the beloved son of the late Charles E. and Helen H. Remmel. John was born in Tarrytown, NY, graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School and Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry.
He is survived by his children, John Harold Jr., Emily Blake and Margaret Elizabeth, his former wife Mary Patricia Remmel of Delmar, his brother Charles E. Remmel, Jr. of Georgia and his sister Debra Galloway of Tarrytown.
Calling hours will be held from 10:30 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Funeral service to follow at 11 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
