John J. Brisee

Watervliet - John J. Brisee , 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at home with his loving family by his side. He proudly served our Country in the U.S. Army for over 34 years.

John is survived by his loving and caring girlfriend: Jodie Longton. He was so blessed to spend his time with her and to have her by his side. John is also lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years: Eleanor Brisee; his children whom he loved more than anything: John (Ashley) Brisee I, and Jacqueline Brisee; his grandchildren whom he had a special spot for that will last forever: Aubrey, Aidan and Brandan; along with three brothers, five sisters, and many friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Sunday, May 8th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, Waterford, on Monday, May 9th, at 10:30 am with a burial at the Saratoga National Cemetery to follow.
