John J. Dillon

ALBANY – John (Jack) J. Dillon, 85, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late John F. and Roseanne Kirkpatrick Dillon.
Jack was a talented artist and an animal lover. He had worked for many years at the Academy of Holy Names in Albany. He was predeceased by his brother Robert J. Dillon Sr. and his sister, Patricia Dillon.
Jack is survived by his sister in law, Lorraine K. Dillon and his nephews, Stephen J. (Karen) Thompson, Robert J. (Jean) Dillon Jr. and John N. (Colleen) Dillon. He is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service on Monday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
