SCHENECTADY – John J. Hair, Jr., 81, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Born in Elmira, NY he was the son of the late John J. and Catherine Hair. He lived in Schenectady for most of his life.
John is the beloved husband of sixty years to Margaret C. Hair. He is the devoted father of James (Sheila) Hair, Alice (Phil) Henzel and Cindy (Dean) Bardwell. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family appreciates the exceptional care John received during his stay at Baptist Health Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Health Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 297 North Ballston Ave., Scotia, NY 12302 in memory of John J. Hair, Jr.
