Kasarjian, III, John J.
COLONIE – John J. Kasarjian, III, 62, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was a graduate of Troy High School and began his career working at his family's meat market. He was a dedicated, hard worker who went on to a successful career in Real Estate. He then became a top sales associate at Goldstein Buick, where he worked until he became ill. He loved horse racing and fine dining.
He was loved and well respected by all of his customers and colleagues. Once you knew John, you had a caring, loyal friend forever. He always put others before himself. He will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, devotion to his family, and most of all, for being a classy gentleman.
John, son of the late John J. Kasarjian, is survived by his wife, Patricia; mother Doris Kavoukian; children J.J., Christopher and Tiffany Kasarjian; step-children Christie Gebauer (Tom), Amy, Tracy and Matthew Breslin, and six grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Quarrier and his nursing staff, The Eddy VNA, St. Peter's Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, and Community Hospice.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, September 3rd from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
