John J."Packy" Mcgee
June 23, 1933 — January 16, 2016
Bethlehem- John J. "Packy" McGee Jr., 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Anna May (Hilton) McGee; step-children, Albert A. DeNucci Jr. and Theresa Ann Townsend; two grandchildren, Jenna and Evan; a sister, Anna T. Whitehead; and several nieces and nephews.
Packy was a member of the Elks for 47 years. He was also a member of the American Legion post #1276. He was an employee of Crucible Steel in Syracuse for 25 years. Packy served as a firefighter in Albany. He proudly served his country in the Navy, Marines, and National Guard for a combined 16 years.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 1-3:30pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A service will follow at 3:30pm.
A graveside service will take place at 11am on April 23, 2016 at Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
