SCHENECTADY-John J. Zaremski Sr., 76, of Schenectady, entered into eternal life on Sunday September 2, 2007 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.
Born June 6, 1931 in Albany, he was a graduate of Voorheesville High School. John served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a car salesman for 35 years, most recently with Metro Ford from where he retired. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is the beloved husband of Patricia M. Kross Zaremski; devoted father of John Zaremski Jr (Colleen), Michael Zaremski (Mary) and James Zaremski; cherished grandfather of Justin, Eric, James Jr., Brandon and Sarah. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Memorial services will be Friday morning at 10:00 at Cornerstone Christian Church.
