COLONIE- John (Jack) T. Brunner, 55, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2006 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late John and Inez Brunner.
Jack had worked for New York State Department of Tax & Finance for many years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed nature and history. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Jets. Jack chose his friends with care and those he chose were close for life.
He is the brother of Dorothy "Dottie" Hilligrass, Mary Ann (John) Sesock, and Lonnell "Lonnie" (Joe) Navejas. Uncle of Matthew, Jason (Bhavna)and Jennifer Hilligrass and Kenneth Sesock.
Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday evening at 7:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Jack's name may be made to Amyloidosis Research Foundation, 4174 Meyers Ave., Waterford, MI 48329. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Newcomerfamily.com.
