John Michael Kiernan

John Michael Kiernan passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024 at home after an extended battle with Agent Orange related Parkinson's Disease.
Son of John and Bridgette Kiernan, brother of Thomas Kiernan, brother-in-law of Laura Kiernan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Delphine Kiernan; his son, Sean Kiernan, daughter-in-law Dr. Christina Guzman, and his granddaughter Sofia Kiernan Guzman who he adored; as well as his son Eric Kiernan.
He is remembered as a loving uncle and father.
John was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran. After Vietnam, he graduated from University at Buffalo SUNY with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He had a long career with Conrail and CSX before retiring in 2004.
He will be buried following a private service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to John's favorite charity: Paralyzed Veterans of America.
