John C. Lamb
July 28, 1967 — January 9, 2017
John C. Lamb, 49, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Albany Medical Hospital after a brief battle with Cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.
John was the son of Charles and Patricia Lamb.
John was the devoted husband of over 25 years to Theresa (Galluzzo) Lamb.
John worked as the Divisional Vice President of Monro Muffler & Brake for over 30 years.
He enjoyed coaching with the Guilderland Pop Warner team, he was an avid golfer and was a loyal Giants fan, enjoying watching the games with his sons. He loved spending vacation time in Seagrove Beach, Florida with his entire family every summer.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by his wife, Theresa Lamb; he is the proud father of his sons; Jeremy, Joshua and Justin; the brother of; Jennifer (Mark) Melville, Carol (John) LaFay and James (Shane) Lamb. He was also survived by his aunts; Tuty Gil and Janet Leon and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at NYOH, especially Dr. Schaffer for going the extra mile and the ICU department at Albany Medical Center for all of their care and compassion given to John and his family.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York on Friday January 13, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday January 14, 2017 at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Our Lady of Angels, Colonie, New York.
