John "Bud" Lochner, 74, passed away Wednesday August 27, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness.
Bud was born in Albany the son of the late Josephine Stapf Lochner and was a lifelong area resident. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Bud worked in produce most of his life at area super markets, including A & P, Hannaford and most recently for Price Chopper.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Joan F. (Butts) Lochner, his sister Patricia Hilton and several nieces and nephews. Bud also leaves behind his faithful canine companion "Spike".

The funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Glenmont.
