COLONIE-John R. Lupe Sr., 83, of Colonie passed away on Monday December 18, 2006 at Albany County Nursing Home. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late George and Mary Parravano Lupe.
John was a WWII US Air Force veteran having served in the European Theatre. He had worked for NY Central Railroad and as warehouse manager of Lewis Equipment Company, retiring in 1985. John was a member of the VFW and the Disabled American Veterans. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Veronica Moscinski Lupe.
He is the devoted father of Margaret Snow and John R. ( Kathleen) Lupe Jr. Grandfather of Angela Lupe, John Lupe and Melissa Haley. Brother of Philip Lupe and the late Michael, Ernest, Rosario and Anthony Lupe. Great grandfather of Caitlyn and Jacob Haley.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
