GLENVILLE—John M. Clark, 75, entered into the arms of the Lord, Sunday morning, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Albany, a son of the late Claire and Melvin Clark. He attended and graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. John honorably served his country in the US Air Force and worked for the phone company for 40 years. He served 31 years Executive Board CWA Local 1118. John was involved in the March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity and the Special Olympics. John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Pine Lake Camp and enjoyed carpentry and model airplanes. John had a generous heart and strived to help everyone.
John was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Clark.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years Mary "Pat" Clark; children, Michael J. Clark (Eileen), Janice Sciocchetti (Alesio), Sandra Miller (Daniel) and Beth Clark; grandchildren, Steven, Daniel, Jillian, Allison, Isiah, Elijah and Katie; sisters, Jeanne, Joan and Karen; in-laws, Vern and Carol Cure; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday morning at 10 am from the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) Entombment to follow in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady 12308 or to St. Luke's Church 1241 State St., Schenectady 12304.
